A glass staining purple/black in color, leads to voluptuous aromas of blueberry, black cherry, spices and dark chocolate. On the palate, copious layers of ripe blackberries, black plum, barbecued meat, black currants and notes of sweet oak. The tannins are finer grained and as the wine opens up it becomes almost voluptuous and round in texture, with juicy dark fruit leading to long, very pleasurable finish.

Heritage is a red blend which celebrates the perseverant and relentless spirit of our forefathers. This wine is a tribute to our proud heritage and commemorates the many bold journeys that shaped our great country. The 2013 is bold and rich with fruit-forward aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry followed by violet, vanilla, and black licorice. Its flavors are intense with black fruit that meld together beautifully with the sweet oak and vanilla bean on the palate. With its silky texture, the tannins slowly unwind for a lingering finish.
The Frog Prince deftly balances the fruit and non-fruit components of the varietal mix. Aromas of cherries and cherryblossom are backed up and made more complex by those of dried thyme and rosemary. The freshfruit flavor persists nicely while your teeth become coated with apleasing nutty tannin quality.
